作为英语周的第一项赛事，歌唱比赛于11月11日下午6：30在大阶梯正式举行！

在参与组织的英语社社员和其他志愿者们的精心准备下，会场被布置得漂亮又温馨。

Late in the afternoon of the first day of English Week, the Singing Competition was held at 6:30 p.m. on 11^th Nov. in our school auditorium, which was beautifully decorated beforehand.

四位主持人、八位评委老师、无数欢呼与期待的目光汇聚一堂！

The six singers whom I would prefer to call “songwriters” brought us a mixed song of three classics We Don’t Talk Anymore & Photograph & Be Alright, and they got thunderous applause from the audience.

Airplanes是今晚的黑马说唱节目。来自高一剑桥的Dolly, Christal 和 Derrick三名同学配合得当，台风稳健。

Airplanes was totally the “dark horse” of the show tonight! Cheers to the vocals Dolly, Christal and Derrick from A-Level Center!

I Love You 3000

高二16班三位女生甜美婉转的歌声打动了评委老师们。《爱你三千遍》在电影里不仅是女儿对钢铁侠的深情呓语，更是表达了大家对石室的祝福表白。

The three girls were from Class 16, Senior 2. Their sweet and subtle voices deeply touched the judges. I Love You 3000 was more than a daughter's gentle whisper to her father, Iron Man in the movie, and it was also a blessing for our dear Shishi.

高二14班的林奕辰，张佳雯两位同学用细腻的嗓音演绎了Everything I Need这首歌，给大家带来了视听享受。

By using their delicate singing voice to present Everything I Need, Leah and Jasmine from AS1 provided us with an audiovisual feast.

Chandelier

来自高二十七班的田芯蓓同学才华横溢，大胆改编并自弹自唱著名歌手Sia的《Chandelier》。从低沉到高扬，声音的转换收放自如。

Chandeliers presented by Stella from Class 17, Senior 2 was brilliant. She charmed everyone with the newly-adapted lyrics and her unique singing voice that is able to make transition from a high singing voice to an unusually low voice.

两位神秘嘉宾的现身是整个歌唱比赛的高光时刻。他们身着卡通服饰，伴着《功夫熊猫》的主题曲，憨态可掬地扭动着身体，从观众后方走来，分撒糖果，播撒快乐。这让全场的同学都兴奋到极点。接下来，在两位嘉宾与主持人的带动下，在场的同学们都开始跟着节奏舞动，场面十分热闹欢快。

The highlight is the moment when the two mysterious guests appeared in the auditorium. Accompanied by the song of Kung Fu Panda, they dressed in cartoon costumes and comically wriggled from the back door. They spread candies and brought happiness to all. Led by the two cartoon figures and hosts, the audience began moving their bodies and shaking, shaking!

I Will Follow Him

来自北美高一十八班的全体同学，组成了一支小合唱队，他们的友爱和团结，伴随着唱诗班活泼可爱的气氛，成为了歌唱比赛的一大亮点。

All the students from Class 17, Senior 1 sang in a small chorus. Friendship, unity, and the lively and lovely atmosphere demonstrated through the performance deeply impressed all the audience.

今夜的我们，如同耀眼的宝石，在此瞬间闪烁。让我们饱含热情，期待明年的英语周吧！

Tonight, we were like dazzling gems, shining at that moment. Full of passion, we are looking forward to the fantastic English Week in the coming year!
