成都石室中学以“Word to World”为主题的第17届英语周启动仪式，于2023年11月27日在文庙校区运动场圆满举行。仪式由文庙校区对外交流中心主任马辉主持，全校师生共同参与。
仪式共分四个环节，首先，通过一段视频回顾上一届英语周系列活动，引导同学们积极参与本次英语周主题活动。
第二环节，伴着轻松舒缓的音乐，全体师生欣赏了文庙AP课程老师的原创诗歌“Connected by the World”。诗歌根据不同老师所授课程的特点，融合了对学校、对生活的认识和感悟，表达了要用热情和创新拥抱世界。（后附诗歌）
接着，文庙AP课程的部分师生代表为大家献唱“What a Wonderful World”（多么美好的世界）歌曲。向大家传达了对现世美好地祝福和拥抱新生的期望，只要肯付出一点爱和关怀，就会发现世界的美丽，爱可以改变一切。
仪式最后，马辉主任鼓励大家积极参与，并展示了本届英语周活动的时间安排表
